MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC Gabonese Customs are an essential pillar of the Plan to Accelerate the Transformation of the Gabonese Economy The implementation of the reforms of the Transformation Acceleration Plan will increase the performance of cross-border trade in the economy.

Gabonese Customs is playing a major role through the implementation and popularization of the ASYCUDAWorld software at the 2 ports of Owendo with expected impacts as varied as the reduction of delays and procedures for processing customs declarations; the increase of customs revenues; dematerialized procedures; the reinforcement of controls; the integration of multi-agency selectivity; the better management of suspensive regimes and the better integrated management of exemptions.

 

As a key economic player in the promotion and development of cross-border trade, Gabonese Customs plays an active role in the State's budget.
